National Youth Violence Prevention Week

Today is the first day of National Youth Violence Prevention Week! 

NYVPW Day 1: Know the Signs!
Be Aware: Today's activities and discussions will focus on how to Know the Signs and prevent violence BEFORE it happens.
Learn about Warning Signs, Signals, and Threats and learn how to Say Something when these are seen. 
Students will identify trusted adults in their schools and send them an invitation to hang a sign on their classroom door so the students know that they can go to them with concerns!
Act on It! We will discuss and encourage the appropriate use of Anonymous Alerts to report incidents.
